Travis George’s BGT Journey: From His First Performance to His Final Moment
Travis George’s journey on Britain’s Got Talent took him from a nervous first audition all the way to the Grand Final.
The Welsh singer first appeared on the BGT stage in 2023. For his audition, he performed “Stars” from Les Misérables. Later, he returned for the live final and performed “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman.
Travis George’s First Performance
When Travis first walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage, he looked nervous. ITV reported that he was lost for words when he first came onto the stage, but everything changed when the music started.

During the semi-final, he performed “Bring Him Home,” another song from Les Misérables. He came second in the public vote for that semi-final. The judges’ vote was tied, so Travis advanced to the Grand Final.

Travis George Reaches the Final
For the Grand Final, Travis chose a different song.
Instead of performing another song from Les Misérables, he sang “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman.
ITV described it as a powerhouse performance and praised Travis’s distinctive voice.
His final performance also showed a different side of him compared with his first audition. By this point, he had experienced the pressure of the competition and returned to the stage as a finalist in front of a much larger audience.

Travis was one of the finalists of Britain’s Got Talent Series 16.
He performed fifth in the Grand Final and finished 8th, according to the published final results.
Although he did not win the competition, reaching the final meant that Travis successfully made it through the auditions and live semi-finals and became one of the final acts of the series.
